The Children’s Services Council of Leon County (CSC Leon) seeks a part-time public relations coordinator to join its team dedicated to the development of the organization as a catalyst for positive change to improve the lives and outcomes of children, youth and families in our community.
Overview of Children’s Services Council
Children’s Services Councils (CSCs), established by Florida statute, are independent taxing districts located in various counties throughout Florida. CSCs use local property taxes to fund programs and services that improve the lives of local children and families. Leon County voters created the Children’s Services Council of Leon County in 2020.
Overview of the Position
The Public Relations (PR) Coordinator is responsible for coordinating media content and community engagement opportunities for the Children’s Services Council of Leon County (CSC Leon) to include, but not be limited to the following: social media, traditional media and press releases/events, local campaigns, and community engagement activities. This position also provides additional communications support to CSC Leon as needed. The PR Coordinator will work collaboratively with CSC Leon staff, external organizations and partners.
This is a part-time, contract position.
