On October 21, Judge Jonathon Sjostrom in his capacity as chairperson of the Children’s Services Council of Leon County formally recognized Ms. Jessica Goodman-Taylor for her exemplary service and support during the first several months of the Council’s existence. Ms. Goodman-Taylor is the Manager/Case Coordinator for the 2nd Judicial Circuit Teen Court in Florida and works regularly with Judge Sjostrom. When the Council first launched and its original members selected Judge Sjostrom to serve as Chair, Ms. Goodman-Taylor provided the Council with all of its administrative support until the interim director, Mr. Ted Granger, was appointed. Even after that date, Ms. Goodman-Taylor continued to support the Council with printing and meeting logistics. To this day, she can be spotted in the audience of the commission chambers or one of the many live stream viewers on YouTube.
Ms. Goodman-Taylor is a Tallahassee native and graduate of Leon High School. She holds a bachelor’s degree in criminology from Florida State University.
