The third round of the Children’s Services Council of Leon County (CSC Leon) “Small Investment for Program Success” (SIPS) funding is now open. The goal of this opportunity is to allow smaller community partners to receive investments outside of established priority funding cycles. If approved, an organization may be awarded up to $15,000 in funding in one of four categories:
- Program Funding
- Developmental Funding
- Match Funding; or
- Sponsorships (up to $5,000).
Only 501(c)(3) organizations that have an annual operating budget of $100,000 or less are eligible for this funding and all requests must align with at least one CSC Leon priority and impact area. Review the full SIPS Program Description for more details.
We will host an informational session and tutorial of the application portal on Thursday, January 11, at 3:00 p.m. ET via Zoom. The application portal can be accessed on our “Funding Announcements” page. A sample application is also available for you to begin planning your responses. We will also accept questions during the webinar and via email (procurement@cscleon.org) up until 5 p.m. on Friday, January 18.

The deadline for submissions is Friday, February 2, at 5:00 p.m. Requests for technical assistance will not be accepted after 12 p.m. on the due date. Decisions are expected on or around Friday, March 8. If awarded, funds must be spent by September 30, 2024.
As with all CSC Leon funding opportunities, applicants (their agents, officers, principals, and employees, including any individual assisting the applicant in this process) shall not engage in any written or verbal communication or any lobbying efforts or other attempts to influence the CSC Leon (including Council Members, team members or any member of the community impact panel) regarding the procurement, the merits of the applicant, or regarding whether CSC Leon should retain or select the applicant with respect to the procurement.
