Meet our Fall Interns!
We’re excited to welcome three Florida State University students to CSC Leon this fall! Brenham Davila, Valentina Florez and Mischa Soubiron bring different interests and experiences to their roles, along with a shared commitment to supporting children and families.
Brenham Davila, FSU Community Ambassador
Brenham is a sophomore from St. Augustine, Florida, studying behavioral neuroscience on the pre-physician assistant track. She hopes to specialize in child psychiatric care. At FSU, she serves as a RENEW ambassador with Counseling and Psychological Services, works as a research assistant in the Laboratory for the Study and Prevention of Suicide-Related Conditions and Behaviors, and participates in the College of Medicine’s USSTRIDE Program.
Brenham joins CSC Leon through FSU’s Center for Leadership and Service for the fall 2026 through spring 2027 term. She looks forward to connecting with the Leon County community through outreach and supporting our work in youth mental health. Outside of school, she enjoys music, fashion, exploring outdoors and spending time with friends and family.
Valentina Florez, Contracts & Accounting Intern
Valentina is a junior from Jacksonville, Florida, double majoring in accounting and business management. She is interested in financial analysis and business operations, and in using those skills to make a positive impact in her community. As a Learning Assistant for Business Calculus at FSU, she has strengthened her communication and problem-solving skills.
At CSC Leon, Valentina looks forward to gaining hands-on experience in contracts and accounting while contributing to work that supports local children and families. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.
Mischa Soubiron, Community Engagement Intern
Mischa is a sophomore from Asheville, North Carolina, double majoring in political science and communications. She hopes to attend law school and explore careers in family and entertainment law. Her interest in advocacy for children brings a strong sense of purpose to her role at CSC Leon.
Mischa looks forward to helping plan community events, learning more about child welfare, and seeing how CSC Leon works with families and community partners. She is also eager to learn from team members through site visits and other opportunities throughout her internship. Outside of academics, she enjoys live theatre, music, dancing, beach volleyball and playing the ukulele. She is active in Phi Mu, Dance Marathon and Camp Kesem at FSU.
Please join us in welcoming Brenham, Valentina and Mischa to the team! We look forward to learning alongside them and seeing the contributions they make in our community this year.
