We are thrilled to announce Marshall Waters as our contract Community Relations Coordinator. Marshall is a storyteller at heart, with a background in filmmaking, photography, media production and content creation. He started “behind the lens” at an early age and has a keen understanding of the intersection between social media and community relations. Marshall joins our small team after serving as “Marketing Assistant” for FSU Campus Recreation. There, he conducted outreach and produced engaging, fun, and passionate content to connect with the fitness community on campus while earning a Bachelor’s in Media/Communications Studies & Marketing.
“I am more than excited to use my community outreach skills to help facilitate growth for the Children’s Services Council,” shared Marshall. “As someone who grew up overseas, I understand that community is the difference between a place and a home. Having the opportunity to learn from the staff and council members of CSC Leon and be part of something creating real change excites me beyond a doubt.”
In his role as Community Relations Coordinator, you will see Marshall at events, community gatherings and more, sharing resources and information on programs designed in specific response to our Community Needs Assessment. He will be focused on content creation, campaign management, and media relations. We look forward to Marshall utilizing his skills to create engaging and memorable content that leaves a lasting impression.
