Cecka Rose Green was approved as the new executive director of the Children’s Services Council of Leon County during a meeting Thursday afternoon.
Green will be paid $120,000 a year with the potential for at least a $5,000 merit increase for the next year’s contract if she has met the council’s expectations, according to the employment agreement.
“Everything I have done in my career, and in fact my personal life, has prepared me for this exact moment,” Green said. “My passion to assume this role is focused on a deep desire to unite the diverse sectors of our community.”
Before approving Green, the council’s board continued their discussion about Green’s salary that started at last month’s meeting.
