Whole Child Leon, CSC Leon, and Leon County Schools hosted first-ever event in the rural community
Every child grows at their own pace, but it never hurts to check in. A simple screening can help make sure their development is on track.
The Fort Braden Family Resource Center and Whole Child Leon partnered up to provide free developmental screenings for children 6 months to 5 years old at the Fort Braden School on Saturday, September 20.
This was the first time the long-running community screening was offered in the Fort Braden community. A total of 22 children participated. Screenings included developmental assessments, as well as free vision and hearing screenings. A Provider Resource Room was also available, connecting families with local organizations and information to support their children’s growth and well-being.
